The Microsoft. NET Framework 3.5 (previously known as WinFX) is the new programming model for Windows. It combines the power of. NET Framework 2.0 with new technologies for building applications, enabling new experiences, and integrated communication without frontiers, and skills for various corporate processes.
These new technologies are Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation, Windows Workflow Foundation and Windows CardSpace (formerly called "Infocard"). Microsoft plans to implement the Framework 3.5 as part of its new operating system, Windows Vista.
Microsoft. NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 is a full cumulative update that contains many new features building incrementally on. NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, and includes cumulative updates to the service. NET Framework 2.0 e. NET Framework 3.0 subcomponents.
